Counselor Approach:

My approach to therapy centers on creating a safe, compassionate relationship where clients feel supported and understood. With children, I utilize Child-Centered Play Therapy, honoring play as a child’s natural language and allowing expression at their own pace within a non-judgmental environment.

When working with adolescents and adults, I practice from a Person-Centered approach influenced by Carl Rogers, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I believe meaningful change occurs when clients feel genuinely heard and accepted.

I often incorporate sandtray therapy to support deeper processing when experiences are difficult to verbalize, and I utilize EMDR to help clients safely process trauma and distressing life experiences. Across all ages, my goal is to provide a calm, steady space where healing can unfold naturally over time.
