Envision the Rhythms for Your Professional Career

Our desire is for graduate interns to enter their practice as professional counselors equipped with practical experience and confidence to treat a wide range of mental health concerns, and to complete our internship program not simply equipped with trauma-informed knowledge, but the ability to practice in an attachment-focused and trauma-response way. ‭ The owners and members of NRTC believe that it is not only important have the latest information about trauma and attachment research (such as the‬ ‭intersection of relationships and neurobiology), but to allow that information to shift their‬ perspectives and practices into true trauma-responsive care for clients. For this reason, we assess interns in trauma-informed care competencies and provide unique opportunities for interns to receive elite and cutting-edge training.

At this time, NRTC accepts two graduate interns per semester. Interviews are currently open for Summer and Fall of 2025
