Kelsie Goller

Kelsie moved to Texas with her husband in 2015 and has since added three children to their family. She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from Taylor University and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. When she is not in the counseling office, Kelsie loves to travel, read, be in nature with her family, and spend time with friends. Kelsie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas.

Specialities/Trainings:

Kelsie specializes in working with children and adults who have experienced trauma.  Kelsie is:

  • An EMDR Certified Therapist, holding a continuing education certificate in EMDR Integrative Attachment Trauma Protocol.

  • A Registered Play Therapist (RPT), a credential that indicates advanced training in play therapy theory and techniques, as well as documented supervised experience in providing play therapy.

  • Trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

  • A Certified PREPARE-ENRICH Facilitator, able to offer premarital and marital counseling using the PREPARE-ENRICH assessment.

  • A Board Certified Supervisor.

Kelsie's graduate degree qualifies her for faith-integration (when requested by the client).

Counselor Approach:

I believe that experiencing a felt sense of safety is not simply the work that we do prior to trauma work or other work in counseling; rather it is a crucial element of everything we do in the therapy room.  I desire to help clients both articulate their goals for their lives and then work towards those goals, using a strengths-based approach that focuses on the importance of the relationship between client and counselor.  Each person walks their own journey and is the expert on their own life experiences; I seek to come alongside as a companion on that journey towards healing and growth.

Fee

$125 private pay.  Sliding scale available.

Insurance: Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Health, Anthem EAP, Quest Behavioral Health, Ascension SmartHealth.  (Other insurances, including Medicaid and BCBS, in process of credentialing).

Tuesdays between 9am and 12pm.
