Counselor Approach:

My intentions as a therapist are to provide a warm and compassionate presence, while still being genuine and authentic. I not only want you to feel safe and welcomed, but ultimately I want you to feel seen and understood by someone you trust. It's important to me that our conversations be engaging and lively, so I welcome all personalities and topics. I strive to balance the use of practical interventions/tools, while holding space for exploration and experience. This way, you have some tools in your toolbox to utilize as we dive deeper together and unfold the many layers of life. I like for the counseling space to be focused on values, story telling, and connectedness. Together, it is my hope that you can gain a better, deeper understanding of your story as you find connection and move closer to what matters most to you.
